Attractive Tourist Destination in Lan Ha Bay

Although not widely known among tourists, Lan Ha Bay is considered one of the most beautiful bays in Vietnam. Below, shares some attractive tourist destinations in Lan Ha Bay for your reference during your trip.

Hang Luồn

Hang Luồn is located on Bo Hon Island, with Turtle Island in front and Heaven’s Gate on the right. Here, the limestone cliffs rise majestically, and the clear water reflects like a mirror in all four seasons. Hang Luồn attracts tourists not only with its unique shape but also with its harmonious and captivating natural scenery.

Three Peach Island

Being a renowned destination with stunning beaches and picturesque landscapes, Ba Trái Đào Beach is located 22 km southeast of the tourist pier. It consists of three small mountains over 20 meters high, resembling three peaches. The seawater at Ba Trái Đào Beach is crystal clear, allowing visibility of the seabed on sunny days. The beach is relatively shallow and sheltered from the wind, making it safe for swimming and kayaking activities. In addition to swimming, visitors to Ba Trái Đào Beach – a highlight of Halong Bay tourism – also have the opportunity to admire the peculiarly shaped islands and cliffs adjacent to the beach.

Turtle Island

Turtle Island is a small islet located within the Lan Ha Bay area, shaped like a turtle swimming on the water’s surface. The island is close to the route from Ben Beo to Viet Hai village.

Trung Trang Cave

Trung Trang Cave is known as one of the most representative and largest caves in the Cat Ba cave system. Each year, this cave attracts tens of thousands of tourists, both domestic and international, to visit and explore.

Trung Trang Cave boasts a mysterious ecosystem thriving in its dark shadows, serving as the habitat for various creatures such as bats, birds, insects, and reptiles. The lighting system inside the cave is limited to preserve the ecological characteristics of the cave environment. The dim and surreal ambiance offers visitors an intriguing experience.

Bell Island

Bell Island, also known by other names such as Pen Island, Candle Island, and Corn Island, is a small islet on the way from Cat Ba to the fishing village of Cua Van.

Light Cave and Dark Cave

Light and Dark Cave (also known as Light Cave, Dark Cave) is located in Lan Ha Bay, part of the Cat Ba archipelago in Hai Phong. This cave is a 70-meter-long passage that penetrates through the mountain but lies above the water surface, so visitors often have to paddle through narrow passages or kayak to access it. Nowadays, Light and Dark Cave is an unmissable destination for tourists visiting and relaxing in Lan Ha Bay.

Upon entering the cave, visitors are often amazed as if they have stepped into a paradise, as inside, there is a vast expanse of water surrounded by towering limestone mountains. Sitting on a boat, floating along the water, breathing in the fresh air along with the deep blue water, admiring the beautiful scenery around, and feeling the tranquility amidst the sea, clouds, and mountains will undoubtedly be a moment you have long sought amidst the hustle and bustle of everyday life.
